We’re The Girl With a Brush, a team that believes decorating should be just as enjoyable as the finished result.
Our founder, Hannah, had been refurbishing homes for over 15 years — along side a busy corporate career. Five years ago, she finally swapped her office desk for a paintbrush and turned her passion into a full-time adventure.
Fast forward to today, and that adventure has grown into an amazing team of six talented decorators, all women, all brush in hand, and all completely dedicated to bringing colour, care, and craftsmanship to every space we work in. Between us, we’ve clocked up more than 40 years of experience — and we still love what we do every single day.

We’ll always keep you in the loop, and if your home needs a bit of prep work first (like plastering or cabinetry), we’ve got a brilliant network of local tradespeople we trust completely. We only recommend people who care as much about quality as we do — and it really shows in the results.
We’re passionate about creating beautiful spaces — but we also care about the environment and what happens after the painting’s done. That’s why we’re proud to be part of the Dulux Decorator Centre Recycling Scheme, which gives old paint cans a brand-new life.
Here’s how it works:
• Metal cans are cleaned, treated, and melted down to make new steel products.
• Plastic cans are washed, chipped, and recycled into handy new items — like pipes!
It’s a small step, but together we’re helping make decorating that little bit greener. ♻️

I am SO pleased with the two bedrooms that were completed earlier in the year. Vic and Helga did the most amazing job and transformed the rooms. I’ve booked for them to come back to work their magic on the remaining rooms in the house and I can’t wait to see how it’s going to look. Hannah is the loveliest and SO helpful and patient. The team did a fantastic job they were cheerful, tidy and so meticulous in their work. After several weeks we felt we knew them well and missed them around the house once the job was complete!
